Zip Line in Camp Sabros

This year's CSSP is in Davao...my third time but the place is so big that even on my 3rd time there, I believe I wasn't able to explore all of Davao still. This year, we are so fortunate that Manong Rhulyx and Riza was there to tour us around. So, as always we went there ahead of everybody. Our first destination....Davao's zipline, longest that is, in Camp Sabros. CAMP Sabros is found up in the cool highlands of Kapatagan in Digos City, Davao del Sur, an almost two-hour ride from Davao City. The name Sabros is from a coined word meaning Sacdalan Brothers from the owners and managers Edwin and Pando Sacdalan.

Kapatagan is on a 3,980 feet elevation, it was cold up there even on a clear summer day =)

First team to try the 380 meters zipline, Icoy and Manong Ulyx

a good view of Mt. Apo's peak, a row of pine trees below at a height of 180 feet...you would probably forget that you're afraid of heights like Manong here =)

the next team, Daredevil Sheila and Bing =)

two Darnas flying gleefully =)

you can also enjoy a cable lift for maximum enjoyment of the scenery =)

flying solo.....that's me =) I tried both the 380 and 400 meters, you can actually choose from their sets of combination or the ride all you can.

Icoy braving the 820 meters...ASTEEG!!!

They have a beautiful log cabins for over night stay.....

then an haciendera and haciendero experience on our going down riding a horse =) it was definitely a day of adventure....it's a therapy for those with fear of heights, if they dare =)
